Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi is visiting Turkmenistan ahead of a gathering of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The rising instability in post-withdrawal Afghanistan will be a major focus of talks in his five-day visit to Central Asia, which also includes Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
