A total of 14 workers were trapped in a flooded tunnel in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province, local authorities said Thursday.

A working team has been dispatched  to the scene by the Ministry of Emergency Management. Rescue teams and related professional equipment have been mobilized, including 19 vehicles and 100 rescuers from the local fire authorities.
