Indonesia's Food and Drug Agency (BPOM) has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use in the Southeast Asian nation, the head of the
agency said on Thursday.
Indonesia is bracing for a worsening outbreak of COVID-19 as the world's fourth most populous country recorded its biggest daily increase in coronavirus cases with 56,757 new infections on Thursday, taking the total tally past 2.7 million.
