Wildfires are raging across the western U.S. and Canada, as scorching temperatures again threaten to shatter records. Officials say more than 340,000 hectares are on fire in the U.S. (mainly in Oregon, California and Arizona), while more than 48,000 hectares have burned in British Columbia, Canada.
