A Ugandan weightlifter has gone missing during an Olympic training camp in Japan, after learning he would not be able to compete. 20-year-old Julius Ssekitoleko failed to conduct a required COVID-19 test and then an alarm was raised when he was not found in his hotel room. Ugandan sports officials say the athlete recently found out that he would not be able to compete at the Games because of a quota system and was set to return home. He was last seen shortly after midnight inside the hotel.
