Blue Origin, an American company founded by Amazon's previous CEO Jeff Bezos, launches its New Shepard rocket to send astronauts to suborbital space and back. This is the company's first crewed space mission. Jeff Bezos and his brother are included in the four passengers. The entire flight is expected to last 11 minutes and well above the 100-kilometer Kármán line that is recognized by some international organizations as the boundary between Earth's atmosphere and outer space.
