A spectacular sunrise was captured on camera in the Ulan Butong grassland in Chifeng City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In Mongolian language, "ulan butong" means jar-shaped red mountain. The vast grassland used to be the grounds of hunting, horse-riding and shooting games hosted by emperors in ancient times.
