Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Arab League Secretary-General Ahmad Aboul Gheit in the Egyptian city of El Alamein. 

Wang said the "two-state solution" is the only practical path to solve the Palestinian issue, and made a three-point proposal to achieve that goal. He welcomed the two sides to negotiate in China. Shoukry and Gheit have agreed to keep in close contact with China on the issue.
