Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi is in Egypt. On Sunday, he attended a ceremony to mark the joint China-Egypt production of one million COVID-19 vaccines doses. Zhang Yongpeng, senior research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences' Institute of West-Asian and African Studies, said that a joint committee will coordinate ties at higher and more strategic institutional levels.
