Chinese immigration police officers vowed to work for a safe and stable border at a press briefing on Wednesday.  

Five representatives of the immigration police shared their daily work and devotions at the briefing organized by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on efforts to build a strong immigration administration force.  

The CPC Central Committee released a plan on deepening reform of Party and state institutions in March, 2018, which demobilized the border police from the Armed Police Forces. Immigration police was shifted under China's National Immigration Administration, which was established on April 2, 2018. The reconstructing officially completed in January 2019.
