In a recent visit to China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, CGTN spoke to Abdusalam Mutallip, a singer, multi-instrumentalist, teacher and a member of an all-Uygur rock band. Moved to Beijing a year ago to chase his dreams, he shares with us his story of striving for excellence from Kashgar to Beijing.
