A total of 73 rescuers from the Beijing Drainage Group Company, the city's drainage system operator, rushed to Zhengzhou, one of the hardest-hit areas in central China's Henan Province, to carry out emergency drainage mission on Thursday morning.

Heavy downpours and floods that struck Henan for the last few days have killed 25, with seven still missing. Rescue efforts are continuing.
