About 1,400  households were rescued and resettled in safe zones on Friday after being trapped  for more than two days in the villages of flood-ravaged Xinxiang, a city in central China's Henan Province.

Two powered bridges, each with a loading capacity of up to 60 tons, were set up overnight on July 22. It's a big platform with six engines that can travel on water.
