At the two outlet drainage points of the east culvert of the north tunnel at Jingguang Road in Zhengzhou City, central China's Henan Province, rescue personnel from China Anneng Group and Tangshan Rescue Base operated three drainage trucks to pump out floodwater around the clock. 

The entrances to the north and south have now been cleared of enough water, after nearly two days of continuous pumping, for there to be a line of sight between the two.
