Heavy rains kill at least 67 in western state of Maharashtra in India

Rescue operations are underway in the western Indian state of Maharashtra after torrential monsoon rains. At least 67 people have reportedly been killed. And dozens are trapped due to flooding and landslides. Hundreds of villages and dozens of towns are without electricity and drinking water. The navy and army are helping with rescue operations in coastal areas. In the neighboring southern states of Karnataka and Telangana, some rivers are overflowing.
