The city of Xinxiang in central China's Henan Province is recovering from massive floods. The sun came out on Saturday morning as most of the streets began to dry off. Water supply and electricity have been restored. However, the northern part of the city is still covered by water. The most challenging area is the suburbs where the villages are located. Bus services have resumed in some parts of the city on roads that are no longer waterlogged or where water levels have receded. Local residents are now commuting via bikes, cars, or on foot.
