Two people were killed, and three workers are missing after they fell into the sea following the collapse of a bridge's box girder in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province.

The accident occurred at Jinhai Bridge in the city of Zhuhai's Jinwan District at approximately 9:25 a.m. Sunday, according to the Zhuhai municipal emergency management bureau.

Search and rescue efforts are underway. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
