Over 100 people have been killed in disasters caused by torrential monsoon rains in India. Downpours have lashed the western state of Maharashtra, triggering landslides and floods. Authorities said hundreds of thousands of people have been affected. The navy and army are helping with rescue operations in coastal areas.
