Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Monday. Prior to Sherman's visit to China, officials from both sides have engaged in dialogue since the Biden administration took office.
