The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and Chinese biopharmaceutical company Sinovac Biotech on Monday reached an agreement on supplying COVID-19 vaccine doses to the COVAX program. Under the agreement, UNICEF will have access to up to 200 million doses through 2021. Deliveries could start as early as August, based on demand from countries in the program. The World Health Organization listed Sinovac's vaccine for emergency use in June.
