Hunan is a major tea-producing province in China, and the local people have deep sentiments connected with it. Changsha green tea is rich in intrinsic quality, mellow and sweet. This tea is exported in large quantities to Belt and Road Initiative countries every year. CGTN's Melody Zhang visited Hunan Changsha Xiangfeng Tea Group to interview its general manager Gong Kai to explore how tea cultivation has helped local farmers eliminate poverty.
