Beijing logged two confirmed COVID-19 cases related to outbreaks elsewhere in China from Wednesday to Thursday noon, authorities said on Thursday.

The two patients had visited central China's scenic spot Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province before returning to Beijing. A total of 654 close contacts have been traced and put under isolated medical observation.
