Team China stunned the swimming field by winning the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics women's 200-meter freestyle relay final on Thursday.
Chinese swimmers Yang Junxuan, Zhang Yufei, Li Bingjie and Tang Muhan touched in 7:40.33 to smash both the world record and the Olympic record, ahead of Team USA (7:40.73) and Team Australia (7:41.29).

The victory was Zhang's third medal during the Games, as she won the women's 200-meter butterfly gold earlier in the day and claimed the silver medal in 100-meter butterfly final on July 26.
