At least 41 injured after magnitude-6.1 earthquake hits Peru

At least 41 people have been injured after a magnitude-6.1 earthquake shook northwestern Peru on Friday, local media reported.

The quake was also felt in neighboring southern Ecuador.

The authorities has temporarily ruled out the possibility of a tsunami.
