Concerted voices supporting coronavirus lab leak theory lack evidence and hinders global effort to trace the origin of the virus, said Dr. Xiaowei Jiang, a biologist from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in an interview with CGTN Anchor Wang Guan. 

As the co-author of an upcoming study on the origins of SARS-CoV-2, Dr. Jiang said the review examines current scientific evidence which supports a zoonotic origin. The review said so far there's no scientific evidence for a lab leak theory.
