China officially commissioned its BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System on July 31, 2020. In an exclusive interview with CGTN, Cao Chong, chief scientist of the GNSS and LBS Association of China, said the value of industries related with China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System exceeded 400 billion yuan in 2020, taking up about 15 percent of the world's total. The share is expected to climb to 20 percent and even 25 percent of the world's total by 2025.
