East China's Nanjing City reported 11 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, said a health official at a press conference on Monday.

The city has reported a total of 215 locally transmitted confirmed cases since new cluster infections began to emerge on July 20 when a few airport cleaners at the Nanjing Lukou International Airport tested positive during routine testing.

Seven of them are severe cases and 127 are moderate cases, while 81 other cases are mild, said the official.
