Tokyo 2020 highlights on Aug. 2: China clinches 4 golds within an hour

Team China won five gold medals in total at the Tokyo Olympics on August 2, four of which happened within an hour, including Wang Zhouyu in women's 87kg weightlifting, Liu Yang in men's rings of artistic gymnastics, Zhang Changhong in men's 50m rifle 3 positions shooting, and Zhong Tianshi/Bao Shanju in cycling track women's team sprint.

Later in the evening, Li Wenwen added another gold medal from women's +87kg weightlifting, bringing the total number to 29. 

Also on Monday, Team China claimed three silvers and three bronzes. Two silvers come from the badminton event, including men's singles (Chen Long) and women's doubles (Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan). The third is from You Hao in men's rings. 

The bronzes are from Zhou Qian in women's 67kg wrestling, Walihan Sailike in men's Greco-Roman 60kg wrestling, and Li Yuehong in men's 25m rapid fire pistol shooting.
