A study published by the Brazilian Butantan Institute shows that a two-dose regimen of the Sinovac vaccine provides significant protection against symptomatic COVID-19 cases. The vaccine helps reduce hospitalization and deaths among adults over 70 years of age infected with the Gamma variant.
