01:05

Senior officials from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Zimbabwe claimed that the COVID-19 origin-tracing issue must not be politicized, warning that politicizing the issue may hinder global cooperation in fighting against the raging pandemic. The executive director of the WHO Health Emergencies Program, Michael Ryan, told a press conference that the WHO member states have reached a widespread consensus not to politicize the origin-tracing process. Also, he spoke positively of China's huge contribution and vigorous assistance to help the global fight against the unprecedented pandemic.
