The World Health Organization is mulling over a second investigation into the origin of COVID-19. Crucially, it includes a deeper probe into the possibility of the virus escaping from a Chinese laboratory. However, the first phase of the investigation dismissed the possibility of such a leak as "extremely unlikely." So why spend more time on a theory which has been discarded by the WHO itself?
