Beijing Ducks player, NBA veteran, and champion Jeremy Lin announced on social media Saturday that he was tested positive for the novel coronavirus during quarantine.

Traveling from San Francisco to Shanghai before the new season of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), he's currently being treated in a Shanghai local hospital.

Lin will be rejoining the Ducks after recovery, as he first signed with the team in 2019, leading the team to a top-four finish in the 2019-20 CBA season.

He spent the next year with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G League, hoping to make a return to the League where he made his name known during the "Linsanity" era, and later won the championship with the Toronto Raptors in 2019.
