The Chinese mainland continues to battle its biggest outbreak this year. This new wave is driven by the Delta variant, and at least 700 cases have been reported since it began in the middle of last month. Yangzhou reports 52 new cases today, and 272 in total since late July. Yangzhou locks down communities with confirmed cases, and the fourth round of mass testing is underway.
