Olympic host city Tokyo reported 4,566 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, the metropolitan government said. It is a slight increase from 4,515 on the previous day.

Tokyo reported 5,042 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, its most since the pandemic began.
