A total of 81 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 44 asymptomatic carriers were found in Zhengzhou City, central China's Henan Province, since July 30, the local government told a press briefing on Sunday night.

The city detected one "abnormal result" from its third round of citywide virus testing as of 18:00 Sunday, local authorities added.

A total of 6,285,800 people have been sampled during the mass testing.
