One more area in the city of Yangzhou in east China's Jiangsu Province has been placed on the high-risk list for COVID-19 as the city battles a new uptick of cases.

Over 300 local infections have been detected in Yangzhou since July 28, according to data released by local health authorities on Sunday.

So far, 15 areas in six cities across four Chinese provinces – Jiangsu, Henan, Hunan and Yunnan – are classified as high-risk areas. Two are in Yangzhou City.
