Expert: Beijing's bid for 2022 less dependent on international tourism

Tokyo 2020 Olympics is one of the first international sport events held with almost no spectators after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Games were delayed by one year due to COVID-19. And for the same reason, there was little ticket sales or tourism boost for the host country. All these factors added to its economic burden. Paul Dong, co-founder of Ei Asia Limited and an official commentator of the Beijing 2008 Summer Games, talks about what events like Beijing 2022 Winter Games can learn from Tokyo 2020.
