While the Tokyo Olympics drew to a close, over 100 displaced children from 12 different camps held their own version of the Games in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib over the weekend, becoming star athletes on the running track and soccer pitch, and collecting medals as fellow participants and organizers cheered them on. Idlib is home to 2 million people displaced from other parts of Syria by the country's lengthy conflict.
