Sixteen Chinese crew onboard a ship which left from the Philippines, currently at sea off the coast of Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang Province, tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
The ship carrying 20 crew members set off from the Philippines on July 30 and was berthed in a designated area in Zhoushan seawaters after 13 crew members showed fever symptoms.
Local authorities have launched emergency rescue procedures for epidemic control on the ship.
