The Dixie Fire, which is currently roaring through Northern California of U.S., has burned through 487,764 acres as of August 10, making it the largest single blaze in the state's history. At least 16 states can see smoke and haze from the fires. According to an update from the National Interagency Fire Center, nearly 40,000 wildfires have burned more than 3.7 million acres of land in the U.S. so far this year.
