Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, launches the torch relay for the 14th National Games and the 11th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 8th National Special Olympic Games of the People's Republic of China. The torch relay begins its journey of about 5.3 kilometers from the square outside the Yongning Gate and through some landmarks of Xi'an. 

China's 14th National Games will be held on September 15 – 27. China's 11th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 8th National Special Olympic Games will be held on October 22 – 29.
