Western missions in Afghanistan continue to leave Kabul, capital of Afghanistan. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has left the country, local TV channel Tolo News TV reported on Sunday. U.S. President Joe Biden authorized additional troops deployment on Saturday, raising the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan to about 5,000. The U.S. forces are expected to expand security in the area and take over air traffic control at Kabul airport, the U.S. departments of state and defense said in a joint statement Sunday.
