Bangladesh inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China on Monday to produce COVID-19 vaccine developed by China National Pharmaceutical Group (Sinopharm).

According to the MoU, Bangladesh pharmaceutical company Incepta will be able to produce at least 5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines monthly to fight against the epidemic worsened by the spread of Delta variant.
