7.1-magnitude quake hits Vanuatu: USGS

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake jolted the coast of Port-Olry, Vanuatu at around 10:10 GMT Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

The quake was recorded at a depth of 84 kilometers. U.S. tsunami warning system has issued a tsunami alert after the quake.
