An autonomous vehicle grand challenge takes place in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on August 19 as a prelude to the Smart China Expo (SCE) 2021. More than 30 citizen contestants with their cars equipped with automatic emergency collision avoidance function duel in the contest finals. A barrier is set to simulate the most difficult scene of handling daily automatic driving to test the reaction and brake capability of cars and other links set to test and display the automatic driving technologies.
