First Tokyo Paralympics-linked COVID-19 case reported

The first COVID-19 case associated with the Tokyo Paralympics came from inside the athletes' village, Kyodo news agency reported on Thursday citing the games' organizing committee.

The person infected is not an athlete, the report said.
