Spectators will be allowed to enter venues to watch the competitions of the 14th Chinese National Games, organizers said on Thursday.

The spectators must provide negative nucleic acid test certificates within 72 hours of entering any venues, according to the organizing committee. Those over 18 years old must also have completed full vaccination for COVID-19 at least 14 days in advance.

Tickets are available for sale on the official ticketing website for the games, the official WeChat account or official ticket sales outlets around the country.

The first batch of tickets is for 12 events and 123 matches covering sports such as handball, trampoline, volleyball women's U-19 group, boxing, rhythmic gymnastics, volleyball men's U-20 group, judo, weightlifting, volleyball women's adult group, karate, martial arts (Sanda) and wrestling.

The games will run from September 15 to 27 in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

The National Games are held every four years and are billed as China's "mini-Olympics."
