Purple bloom points to autumn in Beijing
CGTN

As the scorching summer gradually fades away, autumn has begun to set in with the extending lavender blossom and willow verbena blanketing both sides along the Yongding River in Beijing. In order to beautify the environment, plants with different flowering periods are grown in the area in hope of offering a constant bloom through autumn until mid-November.
