10 dead, 31 missing in severe flooding in Tennessee, U.S.

At least 10 people, including two toddlers, have died during severe flooding in the U.S. state of Tennessee on Saturday, CNN reported citing local authorities.

A total of 31 people are still missing, Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis was quoted saying.  

Officials have activated a level 3 state of emergency and urged those in the state's inner regions to avoid driving or crossing flooded roads and walkways, according to the report.
