The U.S. military is establishing "alternative routes" to the Kabul airport due to threats from the terror group ISIS-K at the airport and its surroundings, CNN reported on Saturday citing a U.S. defense official.
U.S. President Joe Biden met with senior officials Saturday to discuss the Afghan situation and the counter-terrorism operations, the report said.
"There is a strong possibility ISIS-K is trying to carry off an attack at the airport," CNN quoted a U.S. defense official as saying.
